Introduction
Every object carries a hidden memory.
If our memories could make a sound, what kind of echo would they bring?

This workshop is part of the Roaming the Horizon series, the public programme of Taipei Biennial 2025, and features the theme of "sound." It invites you to embark on an evocative journey through individual and collective sound memories, exploring the subtle transformations of time and space embedded within ordinary, everyday objects.

Responding to the metaphor of sound brought forth at the Biennial, titled Whispers on the Horizon, this workshop uses sound as the starting point and personal objects as the medium. Integrating sound, object, and movement, we will search for hidden sounds, weave personal auditory stories, and ignite creativity in the space between play and discovery.

Listen, Reflect, and Imagine
For Adults and Seniors: Through embodied perception and the resonance of objects, we will begin a gentle practice of listening—a journey to look back at the past and thoughtfully gaze into the future. Every breath and every shared resonance become a tender reflection.

For Children and Families: Imagine having a pair of magical ears that can hear the sounds of the distant past and the far future. Participants are invited to step into the museum with ears wide open, ready to follow the hidden sounds.

About Roaming the Horizon
Echoing the curatorial concept and spatial character of the 2025 Taipei Biennial: Whispers on the Horizon, the public programme series Roaming the Horizon adopts movement and flow as its guiding principles. The series invites speakers from the arts and other disciplines to guide visitors through the exhibition spaces, engaging with artworks through encounter and dialogue. Through a range of keywords and lines of thought, visitors are encouraged to develop their own perspectives and ways of experiencing the exhibition.
