Born in 1968 in Zhongli, Taiwan, Jawshing Arthur Liou received a BA in Journalism from the National Chengchi
University. He went to the United States to study art in 1994. Liou received his MFA in Photography and Electronic
Intermedia at the University of Florida in 1998. Liou is currently a Professor of Digital Art and the Director of Hope
School of Fine Arts at Indiana University.
