Due to the fact that Sakuliu Pavavaljung, the representative artist of the Taiwan Pavilion in the 59th International Art Exhibition, Venice Biennale, is suspected to have committed an offense of sexual autonomy, his qualification of representing Taiwan in the International Art Exhibition has attracted wide attention. After consulting specially formed advisory committee and the “nomination committee for nominating the representative artist,” the TFAM has decided to terminate Sakuliu Pavavaljung’s qualification as the representative artist of the Taiwan Pavilion in the 59th Venice Biennale.
