Do you have some freebie gifts or souvenirs stashed away in a cabinet somewhere at home? Perhaps some shareholders’ gifts, convenience store point rewards, or gifts with purchase from department stores? You’ve held on to them hoping they would come in handy one day, but they’ve just been sitting there collecting dust for years. Artist Steph Huang invites all to contribute to “The Tower of Freebie” in the exhibition, Lili Deli. All you have to do is bring those freebies you’ve hoarded at home all these years and create a glorious tower with them at the exhibition. While making this artwork, let us also reflect on the surplus produced to stimulate consumption in today’s fast and convenient Taiwanese society.
 

When to Donate Freebies: March 29 (Sat.) – April 30 (Wed.), 2025, 10:00-12:00 during the museum’s opening days
When to Pick-Up Freebies: June 20 (Fri.) – June 22 (Sun.), 2025, during the museum’s opening hours

* Things to keep in mind about the donated items:

（1）Each item must be smaller than 40x30x20cm.

（2）Food containers and eating utensils must be brand new; no flammable, corrosive liquids, sharp instruments, food items, plants, or other items of safety concern.

•After your donated items have been verified by an on-site staff, please fill out the online form, and then you may proceed to stack the items on The Tower of Freebie.

•If the on-site staff deems any of the items to be unsuitable, please kindly take the items back with you.

•Participation in this project constitutes consent to the disposal of the donated items at the sole discretion of the artist.

•Donated items will be made available for collection by the public at designated times, and those who have not donated may also collect one item per person, while supplies last.

•Items should be picked up from the outermost periphery to avoid affecting the artwork's structure.

•The museum and the artist reserve the right to make final decisions on the event.
