UKI -A Scifi Viral Alt-Reality Cinema
Taiwan Premiere & Post-screening Discussion
2023/10/18 Wed. 19:30-21:30
A defunct replicant Reiko is robbed of their body data and dumped on Etrashville. There they resurrect as “UKI the virus” in order to sabotage a biosystem developed by the GENOM Corp. to manipulate sexual pleasure. Defective humanoids, transmutants, techno-data bodies and an infected city join forces with the UKI virus. Conceived as a sequel to I.K.U., UKI is an extraordinary digital collage of 3D graphics, game animation engine combined with live action and visual effects.
