Hands-on Workshop of 2023 X-site: Wow Wow Parent-Child Handcraft Public Program Workshop Program X-site

In response to the subject of our bodies besieged by the pandemic, the installation Find Your Way Out leads visitors to walk through an alternative narrow path of merely 2 metres wide. The walking experience hopefully drives visitors to perceive themselves and the world outside, to refine individual body experience, and finally, to reconsider the relationship between body and existence. Departing from body perception, the public program invites visitors to take the body as a starting point so as to look for, by different sensational and corporal explorations, a potential imagination of space.

Hands-on Workshop: Wow Wow Parent-Child Handcraft

Instructor: CHENG Hon-Ki

Do you want to dig more about art creation, more than just to feel art? Are you curious about how the installation makes sounds like waves? This time, we hold a special parent-child workshop, inviting young artists not only to experience, but also to create their own sound works.

In cooperation with the artist CHENG Hon-Ki and Toy Bank, the workshop will provide the materials prepared by the team to the children who have experienced Find Your Way Out. With the assistance of the instructor and parents, the children are guided to disassemble toy parts and transform them into a sound component, and create with their own hands a unique seesaw toy that makes funny sounds.

Come join us with your little artist(s) right now!
