Through these activities, the Museum strives to explore the life of different districts, and accompany residents as they identify the unique cultural features of their communities.

This year’s programming focuses on northern Datong District, including Baoan Temple and Confucius Temple, as well as the Forty-Four Stores Settlement, Chen Yueji Teacher's Mansion, and Dalong Public Market, among other places. Entering the District, one feels the special atmosphere of its time and rich cultural details.

The event starts from the theme The Ever-Present Confucius to suggests the hidden influence of Confucianism on our thinking, but also the atmosphere of Taipei’s olden days that permeates the multiverse of northern Datong District as seen in the various timespaces concentrated in old and new buildings, culture, and lifestyles. From these many perspectives, we enter this educational event, and invite senior residents of the area to tell their stories relating to Datong District through art, and hope to make their memories concrete.
