Betsy Lan : Story of Becoming A Woman Actor Your creativity @ TFAM

Betsy Lan majored in theater and women's studies at Southwestern University in Texas then interned in New York's off-Broadway theaters. Since returning to Taiwan she has performed in and produced shows for Taipei's small theater world. A triple threat in her own right, Lan is one of Taiwan's rare artists who can write, direct and act. In 2011 Lan served as a co-curator for the Taipei Fringe Festival and served on the board of both the Taipei Association for the Promotion of Women's Rights and Taiwan Women's Film Association. For her lecture at TFAM, Lan will share her experiences in the theater from an actor's perspective.
