In his lecture Hybrid in Taiwan, Llunc Lin from Luxury Logico will introduce team work. The contemporary art group Luxury Logico defines the creative spirit behind their work as trans-disciplinary: using different conceptual and logical systems, as well as different generations of technology, different members of the group simultaneously consider issues from these various perspectives. The group collaborates by studying the language of each other while balancing concept and technique, and is always looking for new members with which they can collaborate and extend their open-ended work. In this lecture, techno-artist Llunc Lin will discuss the latest trends in hybridity in the arts and recent collaborations by the group, focusing on the different skills needed by artists who work independently and those who work in groups.
