By MRT (Metro)

Take the MRT Tamsui-Xinyi Red Line to Yuanshan Station. Exit 1, and follow the pedestrian trail through Art Park of the Taipei Expo Park, turning left onto Zhongshan North Road Section 3. The Museum will be on your right.

 

By Bus

Take routes 21, 42, 42 shuttle, 203, 208, 218, 218 Express, 247, 247 shuttle, 260, 260 shuttle, 277, 279, 287 shuttle, 310, 612, 1717, 2022, 9006, Red 2, Neihu Metro Bus, Zhongshan Express or Taipei Sightseeing Bus Blue to the Taipei Fine Arts Museum stop.

  • Bus stop location: Northbound (toward Shihlin and Dazhi) buses stop in front of the museum. Southbound (toward Taipei Main Station) buses stop at the intersection of Zhongshan N. Road Section 3 and the Taipei Expo Park Trail.
  • Only northbound bus routes 203, 277, 279, 612 stop at the museum.
  • Bus routes Red 2 and 21 are handicap accessible.
 

By Car

Driving Directions
Travel north on Section 3, Zhongshan North Road toward the Zhongshan Bridge, when you see the Taipei Story House, the Taipei Fine Arts Museum is on your right.


From the National Freeway No.1, exit at the Yuanshan Interchange (merge onto Songjiang Road), turn right onto Minzu East Road toward Hai Pa Wang Restaurant and then turn right onto Section 3, Zhongshan North Road toward the Zhongshan Bridge. When you see the Taipei Story House, the Taipei Fine Arts Museum is on your right.


At the museum’s temporary car park on Section 3, Zhongshan North Road (Car park registration No. 2819, service launched on April 6th, 2022) are 89 parking spaces for compact vehicles and 28 spaces for motorcycles. The parking fee is NT$30 per hour for compact vehicles on weekdays and NT$40 per hour on weekends and holidays. Parking is free for motorcycles. The car park charges are calculated at a half-hourly rate. Parking for a period of less than 30 minutes will be charged at the rate of half an hour, and the subsequent part of an hour will be charged as an hour if the vehicle is parked for more than 30 minutes. Cash payment is NOT accepted. Please pay with a credit card (including Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Samsung Pay), EasyCard, or Line Pay.


According to the amended Regulations for Concessionary Parking for the Disabled (Vehicles) announced by the Taipei City Parking Management & Development Office on December 17th, 2020, eligibility is offered to the following:

  • People with disabilities who possess legally issued Parking Permits for the Disabled (hereinafter referred to as “Disability Permit”);
  • People with disabilities who possess legally issued License Plates for the Disabled (hereinafter referred to as “Disability Plate”).
  • Those who are eligible for concessionary parking shall be entitled to free parking for the first 4 hours and a 50% discount on the regular parking fee will be offered after the 5th hour. Overnight parking will be offered the free 4-hour parking only once and will then be offered a 50% discount on the regular parking fee.
  • Those who wish to utilize the concessionary parking should present the following documents at the car park’s management office:
  • Drivers with Disabilities: The vehicle should be driven by the disabled person and the driver shall present the following original documents: “Disability Permit” (or the vehicle shall have a “Disability Plate”), disability identification (or disability certification; the holder of the two aforementioned documents shall be the same person under the same name), and the vehicle registration document (if the number on the “Disability Permit” is the same as the vehicle’s number, or the vehicle has a “Disability Plate”, the driver is then exempted from providing the vehicle registration document; the name of the registered person on the document shall not be that of a company).
