1. How many tickets can be reserved with one account?
Each OPENTIX account may reserve up to four tickets for the same entry time slot. Please make reservations based on your actual visit needs and avoid booking more dates, time slots, or tickets than necessary, so that other visitors have a fair opportunity to make reservations. Group tickets are not available for this exhibition. Thank you for your understanding.
2. How do I share tickets booked under one account with others?
Use the ticket transfer function in the OPENTIX mobile app to send tickets to others. Recipients must also be OPENTIX members. Once the transfer is complete, recipients may check in independently during the admission time slot shown on their tickets, without accompanying the original booker. If tickets have not been transferred, the original booker must present them, and all visitors in the party must check in together.
3. What forms of payment are accepted?
Payment for online ticket reservations for this event is limited to credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, JCB, or American Express), Google Pay, and Apple Pay.
4. Is it necessary to purchase tickets for children?
Yes. To ensure compliance with exhibition capacity limits, all visitors, regardless of age (including infants), must have a ticket and will count toward reservation capacity.
5. Can international visitors reserve and purchase tickets?
Yes. International visitors can download the OPENTIX App on their mobile phones and register for an account to reserve and purchase tickets. Some users outside Taiwan may not receive the registration verification SMS. If this happens, please complete the Manual Registration Request Form for assistance from OPENTIX Customer Service.
6. If I am unable to attend, can I cancel my reservation?
Yes. If you are unable to attend, please request a refund through OPENTIX before the end of your reserved time slot indicated on your ticket. A handling fee of 10% of the ticket price will be charged for each refunded ticket. Refund requests submitted after this deadline will not be accepted.
To change your reservation, please first request a refund and then make a new reservation and purchase.
If the Museum announces the cancellation of the exhibition for the day or a temporary closure, ticket holders will be eligible for a full refund without any handling fees. Refund procedures and application deadlines will be announced on the Taipei Fine Arts Museum's official website
7. Can I queue for standby admission if online reservations are fully booked?
Yes. A limited number of tickets for on-site standby admission will be available each day, subject to exhibition capacity. Admission is not guaranteed.
Advance registration and requests for specific time slots are not accepted for standby admission. Please purchase your ticket on site before joining the standby queue. Staff will admit visitors in queue order as space becomes available. Please remain in the queue while waiting. Holding places for others and cutting in line are not permitted.
Visitors wishing to join the standby queue should proceed to the Museum’s South Entrance and remain on site while waiting. Once Museum staff confirm that admission is available, please follow their instructions to purchase tickets, store personal belongings, and enter the exhibition.
8. Can tickets be purchased at the Museum?
Yes. After Museum staff confirm that admission is available, visitors should follow instructions and purchase a ticket at the ticket counter. Each individual may purchase only one ticket, and standby tickets may only be used by the purchaser.
9. Are guided tours available for this exhibition? Are guided tours permitted inside the exhibition space?
To maintain the quality of the visitor experience and the immersive atmosphere of the exhibition, guided tours are not provided, and guided tours of any kind are not permitted inside the exhibition space.
